Taylor Lautner and his wife are expecting a baby girl.

The Twilight Saga actor and his spouse, Tay Dome Lautner, announced in March that they are set to become parents for the first time, and in a new video shared to Instagram on Sunday (07.06.26), they shared the "secret" of the tot's sex with fans.

The video showed the couple sitting around a laptop as they clicked to find out the news, and as they swiped the mouse, they screamed together when the word: "GIRL" appeared over the video in pink letters.

Tay sobbed into her hands before the 34-year-old actor put his arms around her and planted a kiss on her forehead.

They captioned the video: “Our little secret is now yours.”

Taylor and Tay had announced their baby news on Instagram with a series of pictures, including them holding a sonogram picture and posing outdoors.

The caption read: “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” – a reference to their shared name. Tay wore a sleeveless white dress, while Taylor coordinated in a white shirt, black trousers and white trainers.

Messages of support followed from friends and former co-stars.

Nikki Reed, who appeared alongside Taylor in the Twilight series, said: “Oh my goodness – heart bursting. I love you guys. I can’t wait to watch your journey as parents unfold… .”

Kellan Lutz added: “Congrats brother! It’s the best!” Mackenzie Foy, 25, said: “Congratulations.”

Other public figures also responded.

Alex Cooper, 31, host of the Call Her Daddy podcast, said: “SO HAPPY FOR YOU BOTH!!!!!”, while Jessi Draper, 38, said: “I’m so happy!!!!!”

Tay, 29, previously insisted she and Taylor have a very "normal" marriage, despite her husband's fame.

She told People magazine: "I didn't grow up in the industry at all, and our day-to-day is still very normal.

"I remember I posted an Instagram Story of a bug in my laundry or something and everyone's like, ‘Oh, my gosh, you do your own laundry?’. Guys, it's very normal here. We go to the grocery store. That would be a misconception for me, is we're just normal. We're just still doing the thing!"

And the nurse told how she has grown used to Taylor having to work away for long periods of time.

She said: "We're warming up to it.

"It will be a little challenging, but I have faith deep somewhere."
