Although ABC has announced the cancellation of the upcoming season, starring Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor, Warner Bros met with the entire male cast apart from the winner and told them “their contracts will be in place for a year”.
A source told PEOPLE: “All of the men were on the call with Warner Bros. except for the winner. The lawyers told them all their contracts will be in place for a year."
ABC pays licensing fees to Warner Bros. TV Group to air the show.
Opportunities to appear on spin-off shows such as Bachelor in Paradise were also discussed.
ABC announced it was pulling the planned premiere of The Bachelorette after a 2023 video of Frankie, 31, throwing chairs at her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen in the presence of her child was released by TMZ.
The clip was taken during an incident in 2023 connected to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' arrest for alleged domestic violence following an altercation with Mortensen, 33, the father of her two-year-old son Ever.

A Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said: “In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.”
Meanwhile, some of the contestants from Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette took to social media amid news of the cancellation.
Doug Mason said on Instagram Stories: "I'm just sending out prayers to Taylor, 'cause that was her moment and her moment was blocked. All we can do right now is just be hopeful… stay positive and show nothing but support for people in need."
Malik Evans wrote: "I'm doing okay. Hope to share more soon. Thank you to everyone who has reached out."
Matthew Carroll reposted a video from the IndyStar, which confirmed the show's cancellation and wrote: "On pause for now. Thank you for everyone's support and thoughtful messages."

According to PEOPLE, the Draper City Police Department confirmed that an open “domestic assault investigation” exists between Paul and Mortensen. Per the police department’s spokesperson, “allegations have been made in both directions” and “contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th.”
