Ricki Lake reveals Rosie O’Donnell was 'judgy' about her facelift

Ricki Lake says her pal Rosie O’Donnell was initially "a little judgy" about her decision to get a facelift.

The 58-year-old former talk show host had a deep-plane lower face and neck lift in 2024 to fix the loose extra skin that hung below her chin after she shed 40 lbs to reach her 130-lb goal weight, but her 64-year-old pal felt she did not need cosmetic surgery until Rosie lost 50 lbs and had one herself.

Appearing on ABC's The Weekend View on Saturday (31.10.26), the Hairspray actress said: "Rosie is my really good friend, and we talk all the time. She was judgy. She would admit it. She was a little judgy about me and my friends that went to this doctor and had these amazing results.

"And sure enough, she lost a bunch of weight ... and she went and had it done. She looks phenomenal."

Ricki insisted she was not "trying to look 20", but wanted to feel like herself again after losing so much weight.

And the Serial Mom entertainer embraces ageing, adding: "I have my natural grey hair. I really own my age, and I love the age I’m at."
