Ricki Lake shares 'remarkable' results of facelift to mark two years since the cosmetic surgery
Ricki Lake had a "deep plane lower face and neck lift" in 2024.
Ricki Lake has marked the two-year anniversary of her "deep plane lower face and neck lift" by showing off the "remarkable" results to her fans.
In 2024, the 57-year-old former talk show host went under the knife to fix the loose extra skin that hung below her chin after she shed 40 lbs to reach her 130 lb goal weight the year before, and Ricki is glad she took the plunge and had the cosmetic surgery.
On Saturday (18.07.26), the Hairspray actress took to Instagram and posted multiple before and after shots following her lower face and neck lift, with the caption: "Happy 2 year anniversary to me.
"Yes, 2 years ago today, I had a face lift. Specifically, for those wondering, I had a deep plane lower face and neck lift along with a mild co2 laser. (sic)"
Ricki lauded her "talented and kind" surgeon, Dr. Allen Foulad, for the "wonderful experience".
She added: "And my results have been remarkable, natural, and long-lasting."
All was not joyous though when the Cry-Baby alum hit her 130 lb goal weight three years ago.
Ricki explained: "Back in 2023, I had lost 40 lbs over the course of a year, and did not like the extra skin that hung from below my chin. It was never going to tighten up by itself."
The Serial Mom entertainer has no regrets about getting work done to her lower face and neck.
She said: "I took a leap of faith and I’m so grateful I did.
"I am also very glad to see so many people over these past couple of years opening up about their own plastic surgery journeys.
"The last two pics are recent and without makeup or filter."
Ricki is happy to talk about her cosmetic surgery.
Appearing on a June 2025 episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, the Mrs. Winterbourne cast member said: "I love that I can talk about it. I'm fully transparent, always have been. I don't want there to be any stigma. This is something that was bothering me.
"I lost a lot of weight, and I had this certain thing [loose skin] hanging, and I had it fixed."
Previously, during a appearance on ABC's Good Morning America, Ricki told how she made a "lifestyle change" to shift the pounds after refusing to take the weight loss drug Ozempic when her doctor tried to "push" it on her.
She explained: "The doctor was pushing it for people who were overweight. And he was saying you weren't going to be successful without it, is what he said to me, really.
"And I like a challenge. And I like proving people wrong. And so it p***** me off. I just was reluctant, and I wanted to give it a go on my own."
Ricki added: "This is a lifestyle change. I've made this my job, and it's become my joy. Like, I just … I love it. I think it's safe to say I'm in the best shape of my life.
"I say, this is what happy looks like. Like this is really – I could cry. I'm so happy. I'm so happy."
