Busy Philipps' latest tests have confirmed there is "no sign" of a brain tumour any more.
The Dawson's Creek actress revealed in August she had been diagnosed with a grade 2 oligodendroglioma, a rare slow-growing tumour, and subsequently underwent two operations to have it removed. This week, she underwent an MRI scan which revealed good news - but also detected something else about her health.
Busy told fans in an Instagram video shared on Tuesday (08.09.26): “I got my six-month scan MRI and … no sign of tumour.
“However, I do have a sinus infection … which also makes sense because my eye’s been red. My left eye, for the past week and if you are somebody who’s followed me for a really long time, you know those sinuses, honey. They have been out to get me since day one.
“I’m going to the sinus doctor tomorrow morning. See what we’ve got to do.”
The 47-year-old actress was delighted with the test results.
She laughed: “I’ll take a sinus infection over a brain tumour any day."
