Nicola Peltz thanks husband Brooklyn Beckham while accepting Rising Star award at the Kinéo Awards
Nicola was presented with Rising Star awards at the Kinéo Awards for her role in the indie drama movie Prima.
Nicola Peltz thanked her husband Brooklyn Beckham for “always believing” in her while receiving the Rising Star award at the Kinéo Awards on Saturday night (05.09.26).
The model turned actress was presented with the honour at the awards during the Venice Film Festival thanks to her role in indie drama Prima, in which she stars as a ballerina, alongside Faye Dunaway.
Wearing a simple black gown, a visibly nervous Nicola began her acceptance speech by saying: “Hi everyone. I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me.
“Thank you so much for this immense honour. To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.”
Nicola paid tribute to Faye, calling her an “inspiration”, before going on to thank her family and husband.
She continued: “My family are my everything. My mum, dad, (brothers) Diesel and Brad and Brooklyn thank you. You always believe in me.
“To have your support is the reason I can reach to the stars in the first place.”
