Leigh-Anne Pinnock is hoping to move to New York but her husband Andre Gray "doesn't want to".
The Little Mix star - who is mother to twin daughters and is currently expecting her third child - has revealed she longs to leave the UK and start a new life in the US because she's convinced the move will help her music career but her plans have stalled because former soccer player Andre isn't keen on emigrating abroad.
During an appearance on the Relations*** podcast, Leigh-Anne explained: "In the UK, I think there’s a lot of black female artists that aren’t getting the support they deserve, and people are coming to America for that reason.
"I definitely feel like there’s a market here for me and a fanbase that I can keep nurturing, but I have to be here. I’ll be honest, it is really hard with kids.
"My girls go to school in the UK. If I come here [to America], I can only really do two weeks at a time.
"I want to move to New York, but my husband doesn’t want to."
In the interview, Leigh-Anne also revealed she recently came off social media while filming her part in UK reality TV show The Traitors - and she believes the break really helped her mental health.
She said: "I didn’t realise how bad my mental health was until I came away from it. I filmed Traitors recently and didn’t have my phone, and I had a really good cleanse.
"I think social media is not made for mental health. It was really affecting me."
Leigh-Anne recently took to social media to reveal her pregnancy, writing in a caption: "As one chapter ends, another begins."
The Been a Minute star and Andre, 35, are extremely protective of their twins - who were born in 2021 - and have never revealed their names nor shown their faces in public.
Leigh-Anne, who married the former Premier League player in 2023, told People earlier this year: "I remember when they were born, I was going through this online hate thing and really seeing the toxicity of social media.
"I mean, I probably would've still decided to not show their faces anyway, but that just kind of confirmed it for me. I want them to be able to make that decision.
"I want them to be able to [choose] if they want to be famous or not, because once they're out there, they're out there. And I think that's such a big thing. "It's just a f****** scary place out there."
However, the couple's daughters can be heard at the end of the track Heaven, which closes Leigh-Anne's debut solo album My Ego Told Me To.
Speaking about the song, she said: "I cry every time [I listen to that song]. Oh, God, it’s just so special. It's actually my favourite song of all time, to be honest."
