Kourtney Kardashian has helped Travis Barker to find "peace" in his life.

The 50-year-old musician has been married to Kourtney, 47, since 2022, and Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer, the directors of Travis' new documentary, have explained how she's changed his life.

Speaking to People, Justin explained: "He was very close with his kids, but within the last couple of years, he's found the love of his life and I've really seen this sense of ease permeate him.

"You carry your shoulders like this and I just see him relaxing the last few years.

"I think it's a large testament to his family."

The new documentary explores Travis' life and music career, including the lasting trauma he experienced after a 2008 plane crash that left him with a fear of flying.

The directors joined Travis on board the Queen Mary 2 early in the production process, as Travis - who is the drummer for the rock band Blink-182 - travelled by boat for a European tour.

Justin said: "I feel like that really set the tone of the movie we were going to make, which is a film about trauma and how do you overcome that."

The directors ultimately came to recognise that Travis has learned to live with trauma, rather than overcoming it.

Michael explained: "The key distinction that we found over making this film is that it was not necessarily about overcoming [trauma] because I don't think you actually overcome [it]. You actually live with [it]."
