Ariana Grande has admitted “it feels impossible to find the words” to thank fans after kicking off her Eternal Sunshine tour on Sunday night (07Jun26).
The 32-year-old singer took to the stage in Oakland, California, for the opening night of the road show.
Following the concert, she took to her Instagram page to share pictures from the special night, writing alongside them: “Oakland, night one … it feels impossible to find the words at this time … so for now, just thank you.
“From the bottom of my heart.”
She added that she’s “missed” her fans after last taking to the road back in 2019.
Ariana wrote: “I love you all more than words can ever possibly say. And I missed you.
“Thank you.”
The concert featured 11 songs from Ariana’s Eternal Sunshine album, which she released in March 2024 - including We Can’t Be Friends and Yes, And?.
However, she did include tracks from the two albums she’s put out since then, including Positions - which was released in 2021.
Ariana also performed her new single Hate that I Made You Love Me, from her upcoming record Petal, and concluded her show with Rain On Me - featuring pre-recorded vocals from collaborator Lady Gaga.
The tour continues with a further two nights at the Oakland Arena, before Ariana performs five nights in Los Angeles, and then moves onto North American locations including Austin, Texas, and Chicago.
She will conclude the tour with a 10-night stint at London’s O2 Arena from 15th August to 1st September.
