Katie Price has blasted husband Lee Andrews for "making [her] look like a d***" after he failed to fly to the UK.

The former glamour model married the 42-year-old businessman in January, just days after they met in person in Dubai, and despite speculation he is banned from leaving the UAE, the couple were booked for a sit-down interview on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday (12.05.26) but Katie ended up attending alone after Lee failed to get on a plane.

It was reported Lee - who has denied allegations he can't leave Dubai after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend Dina Taji’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan - was "detained" at the airport, but Katie insisted at the time he had simply missed the flight due to work.

But she admitted to her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show podcast he had told her he "was at the airport and couldn't get on the flight' because of an issue with his visa.

She added: "I phoned the foreign office up and gave them Lee's name and date of birth and they said that they had detained a British man."

Katie then expressed her frustration with the situation.

Sophie said: "I feel like he is massively mugging you off. And he’s done it on live TV."

Katie replied: “I have said to him, ‘You’ve made me look like a d***, you’ve made yourself look like a massive d***."

The 47-year-old star is unhappy about the attention their controversial relationship has received as a result.

She continued: “It’s now become a soap opera something from EastEnders of ‘is he coming, isn’t he?’.

“It’s all been built up. This is why I want relationships – normally – more private.

“At the end of the day it’s between me and him, not really anyone else."

Katie admitted she had confronted Lee about the situation.

She said: “But he hasn’t made it to the UK and I’ve said to him he needs to make it to the UK, because if he doesn’t, then there’s obviously something not right going on.

"'And if he does make it it will shut up all the rumours because at the moment everyone thinks he is on a flight ban.

"I said it does look weird that you are not coming to England and I keep coming to Dubai. I can't go to Dubai now because I have a show coming up.

"As much as it is lovely going to Dubai he has to come here now and I said, 'If you come to England no one will say anything, it is the fact you keep saying you are coming and then you don't of course people are going to flag it', even I have flagged it up to him.

"I said, 'Don't do that to me again to go on live TV without you and make me look stupid and a d***, so no wonder everyone is saying you're this you're that because they have a reason to say it and I agree."
