Diane Keaton's personal possessions are being sold off six months after her death.

The Annie Hall actress passed away in October at the age of 79 and it's now been confirmed her belongings - including her art collection and "notable fashion pieces from her coveted wardrobe" - are going under the hammer.

A statement from auctioneers Bonhams describes the sale as a "thoughtfully curated selection of fine art, interiors, iconic fashion, personal objects, and other creative touchstones", adding: "Comprised of American modern and contemporary fine art and photography, alongside interiors, notable fashion pieces from her coveted wardrobe, personal ephemera and entertainment memorabilia, the resulting collection illuminates Keaton's innate instinct for composition, restraint, and meaning."

The sale has been split into four auctions which take place in New York and Los Angeles as well as online with the first sale kicking off on May 31.

The Diane Keaton Collection: Architecture of an Icon - will be held as a live auction only in New York on June 8 and it will feature fashion pieces from brands including Ralph Lauren, as well as a collection of American fine art, a collage created by the actress herself and her original untitled script for her movie Annie Hall.

The other sales include the Tailored and Timeless collection, based around Diane's fashion, while At Home with Diane will focus on interiors and Chapters of an Edited Life will include more of her personal effects.
