Drew Barrymore has tearfully revealed her body insecurities after undergoing two c-sections.
The 51-year-old actress and chat show host, who has daughters Olive, 13, and Frank, 11, with ex-husband Will Kopelman, was emotional as she revealed why she related to a mother-of-four on her programme who was uncomfortable wearing "form-fitting clothing".
During Monday's episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, guest Dawn Benwood underwent a fashion makeover which left Drew in tears.
She said: "I so related. I really did.
"The other day, I was walking down the street – and I’ve had two C-sections and I’m so wrecked down there that I permanently just… I can’t wear a lot of different types of pants.
"The other day I was walking around and I had this shorter shirt on and I couldn’t keep my jacket closed. And I’m walking around and I was [thinking], 'I don’t want anyone to see this.' "
The former child star told the guest that she understands "when you have kids and you have a busy life and your body changes and you get older and things just aren’t the same".
She added: "Just hearing your story, I just thought of how I felt two days ago walking down the street on a Sunday with my daughter.
"I totally get it"
