Gordon Ramsay has insisted Victoria Beckham did not behave “inappropriately” at her son’s wedding.

After Brooklyn Peltz Beckham alleged in a fiery Instagram message that his mother Victoria left his Transformers actress bride Nicola Peltz Beckham in tears by replacing her during a wedding dance at their lavish reception, close family friend Gordon refuted the claims.

He told The Sun: "We [Gordon and his wife Tana Ramsay] were there at the wedding. There was nothing salacious. There was nothing inappropriate. Everyone was having fun, having a dance.

“No! Nothing of the sort. It was fun. I haven’t seen any of the memes, I heard about them of course…”

Gordon, 59, also insisted that he and Brooklyn, 26, are still close and he hopes the chef will reconcile with his family.

However, he accused Brooklyn of being “infatuated” with Nicola, 31, and getting “carried away” in his feud with his parents Victoria and Sir David Beckham.

He said: “Brooklyn and I have messaged a little bit, our relationship is solid. I love him – his heart is incredible

“But it’s hard, isn’t it, when you’re infatuated? Love is blind. It’s easy to get up on that rollercoaster, and get carried away. But it will come back."
