Billie Eilish called for collective action amid unrest in the US, after winning the Grammy for Song of the Year.

The 24-year-old singer and her brother, Finneas O'Connell, took to the stage at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday (01.02.26), and Billie used the opportunity to call for solidarity and protests.

Billie Eilish - who won the Song of the Year Grammy for Wildflower - told the crowd inside the Crypto.com Arena: "As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land."

Billie - who is one of the world's best-selling artists - added: "It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I just feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter."

The singer's speech was bleeped for several moments during the live broadcast. However, Billie could be heard saying: "And f*** ICE - that's all I'm gonna say. Sorry!"
