Snoop Dogg’s granddaughter has died.
The 54-year-old rapper – whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr – and his family are in mourning after his daughter Cori Broadus, 26, revealed her baby Codi had passed away just three weeks after her release from a 10-month stay in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
Cori announced the loss with a post on her Instagram Story where she shared a black-and-white photo of herself cradling the baby.
She wrote: “Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.”
She later reshared a previous post celebrating Codi’s release from hospital just last month and captioned it: “20 days later? Dawg I’m sick.”
Her fiancé Wayne Deuce also posted: “I’ve been the saddest since you left me Codi Dreaux. But I know you [are] at peace. Daddy will always love you.”
Codi was Broadus’ first child with Deuce.
Snoop has yet to comment on the devastating loss.
