Tommy Lee Jones’ family has released a statement following his daughter’s death.

Victoria Jones, 34, was found dead in a San Francisco hotel room, on New Year’s Day (01.01.26) and her family have thanked people for their “kind words, thoughts, and prayers”.

They told Us Weekly in a statement: “We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

Tommy, 79, had Victoria and her brother Austin Jones, 43, with his ex-wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.

Victoria was found dead at the Fairmont San Francisco hotel in the early hours of Thursday morning after the San Francisco Fire Department responded to “a report of a medical emergency”.

The San Francisco Fire Department told Us Weekly: “Upon arrival, paramedics from the fire department performed an assessment. The person was declared deceased. SFPD and the medical examiner’s office were called to the scene. Scene turned over to SFPD and SF Medical Examiners.”

A 911 call revealed that San Francisco police officers received a call for “code 3 for the overdose.”

NBC Bay Area reported on Victoria’s death, citing police sources with “direct knowledge of the investigation” and added that she was “found in a hallway of the hotel early Thursday morning”.
