Cher, Angelina Jolie and Jon Stewart - These stars HATE Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving might be all about feasting and feeling thankful, but a few celebrities want no part of it.

Some can’t stand the traditional dishes, while others are put off by the holiday’s complicated history.

Check out which famous faces would happily skip Thanksgiving altogether!

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt has grown accustomed to life in the U.S. with husband John Krasinski but explained that she never celebrated Thanksgiving as it resulted in them having to make two turkeys in the space of a few weeks.

The Oppenheimer star explained: "We don’t do Thanksgiving [in the UK], but we do turkey at Christmas.

"This year, I said to my husband, ‘We’re gonna have two turkeys because we haven’t’ done a turkey at Christmas for the last couple of Christmases and I want to do it.’"

Zooey Deschanel

Zooey Deschanel loves spending time with her family on Thanksgiving, but can’t stand the “beige” food that traditionally comes with the holiday.

The New Girl actress said: “I actually love my family, don’t like Thanksgiving food.

“Let me just lay it out. Most of it’s beige or gray, which I don’t find appetizing.

“You have turkey, which is beige. Stuffing, beige. Mashed potatoes, off-white. Pumpkin pie is like orange-beige. It’s a lot of beige. I just don’t really like beige food.

“I have a problem with the color scheme.”

Jon Stewart

The comedian and TV host took a sarcastic jab at the holiday’s historical roots during an episode of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart back in 2014.

He said: “I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way.

“I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast and then I killed them and took their land.”

Cher

Cher sparked controversy in 2013 when she told her X followers she doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving because she sees it as commemorating the theft of Native American land.

She wrote: “4 me and my Family, it’s a day, When every1 is free 4Diner and a movie, Not 2 celebrate the beginning of a GREAT crime.

“Stealing Land, from a ppl, Who believed, Owning LAND Was Like Owning SKY! We gave them Blankets laced w/Smallpox.”

Angelina Jolie

A friend of Angelina Jolie claimed she gets “grossed out” by Thanksgiving and has no desire to observe the holiday because of its troubling historical context.

The source said of the Maleficent star: “Jolie hates this holiday and wants no part in rewriting history like so many other Americans.

“To celebrate what the white settlers did to the Native Americans, the domination of one culture over another, just isn’t her style.

“She definitely doesn’t want to teach her multi-cultural family how to celebrate a story of murder.”
