Rival protestors clashed outside Bob Vylan's concert at the O2 Forum Kentish Town - the constituency of British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

The punk duo took to the stage at the venue in the Prime Minister’s Holborn and St Pancras constituency on Tuesday evening (11.11.25) and their appearance resulted in heated scenes outside.

Singer Bobby Vylan caused controversy during the band's 2025 Glastonbury appearance when he chanted "death, death to the IDF”, with his inciteful words being broadcast by the BBC.

Following his apparent call to arms against Israel's Defence Forces, Starmer denounced the chant as hate speech, and his actions sparked a protest from the Stop The Hate advocacy group who had written to the local council asking the gig to be banned.

Stop The Hate protested across the road from the venue and played songs such as Sir Elton John's I'm Still Standing and Queen's Another Bites the Dust in defiance.

Pro-Palestine protestors gathered across the street from Stop The Hate, with a sizeable police presence separating the two opposing groups.

Pro-Palestine supporters waved flags as they chanted "Free Palestine" as they were monitored by officers.

A handful arrests for breaching Public Order Act conditions, with the Met Police confirming that a pro-Palestine protester was arrested in relation to chants referencing the IDF outside the venue, whilst a protester from the Stop the Hate demonstration was also arrested on suspicion of common assault following an altercation involving another protester.

Bob Vylan's gig took place as planned.
