Smithy, what's occurring in New York? James Corden shows he has good manners
James Corden was seen out and about in New York City showing he does have good manners.
He may be beloved by the British public for playing Smithy in 'Gavin and Stacey', but James Corden has a reputation off camera for being difficult with directors and even less pleasant to restaurant servers.
So it was a surprise to see James exiting his car in New York with his wife and another couple and showing his gratitude to the doorman at the Mark Hotel in New York by shaking his handd.
The foursome were staying at the hotel whilst in The Big Apple to attend the Met Gala earlier in May.
Maybe Smithy's jovial character is rubbing off on Corden in real life?
