Taylor Swift made ‘Folklore’ so she could feel connected with her fans during the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the section celebrating the LP at her ‘Eras Tour’ show at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool on Thursday night (13.06.24), the 34-year-old singer opened up about how the record saved her creatively after she had to cancel her planned tour in support of her seventh studio album ‘Lover’.

‘Folklore’ was a surprise release when it came out on 25 July, 2020. For the LP, Taylor teamed up songwriter Jack Antonoff and The National’s Aaron Dessner, who acted as co-writers and co-producers.
