Amy Winehouse wanted to have "loads of kids" with Blake Fielder-Civil and hoped they would "die" together.

The Back to Black singer married the former video production assistant in 2007 but they divorced in 2009, two years before she died from accidental alcohol poisoning, and in a previously unreleased interview which took place just three days after they tied the knot, she discussed her hopes for their future together.

She told the Sunday Times magazine: “You get to a point when you realise you don’t really want to be with anyone else. It’s, like, why would you ever want to be with anyone else ever, do you know what I mean? When you’re in love with someone."

Asked if she sees themselves together in 30 years, she nodded and added: “I know we’re going to die together. [As older people?] Yeah."

Later in the interview, Amy admitted she wanted to start a family with Blake and said she'd put her career on hold to do so.

She said: "We want to have loads of kids. If I was pregnant that would be it."

The Rehab hitmaker felt she had a depressive personality, but wasn't interested in using medication or turning to therapy because of her experiences as a teenager.

She said: “I would never take medications. I did it when I was younger.

“Yeah … I was on the pill … and I was quite up and down. I went to see a lot of people. Therapy and so on. But I never met anyone that I liked. It’s fine, I’m a musician. You tend to write out the way you feel.”

Amy believed people couldn't be helped if they were unable to help themselves.

Asked if she was in therapy at the time, she said: “No. I wouldn’t do that. I don’t think it’s in me. I think if you have a problem with something and you can’t help yourself, then you can’t be helped.

“I dunno. I’m not against therapy. If something works for you then it works.”

Meanwhile, Amy claimed tabloid photos at the time in which she appeared to have a white substance on her nose were "so obviously fake".

She said: “Yeah, that was silly. So obviously fake. I found it funny. You could see they got a photo and they put stuff on my nose.

"It was hilarious. It’s happened to friends of mine as well.”

Asked if she was angry, she said: “Nothing you can do. Live and let live, you know what I mean?

“When the cocaine pictures came out, my dad was really angry.

"He said, ‘This is horrible, how can they do this to you?’ and I was, like, ‘Dad, it happens to a lot of people - they’ll take a photo and make it look a certain way.’

"He said he was going to ring this paper and that paper. I was, like, ‘It’s pointless.’ I said, ‘Dad, there’s nothing you can do.’”
