Dylan Sprouse says video games are his and twin brother Cole’s “love language”.

The 33-year-old actor shot to fame alongside his identical twin, with the pair taking on roles in the film Big Daddy and TV shows Friends and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

But while they no longer work together these days, they still have a close bond - which they strengthen on a daily basis.

Dylan told Vanity Fair: “My brother and I talk every day. We’re still so close to each other. We live 15 minutes away from each other.

“We make a point to play video games almost every other day with each other, which is our love language.”

Dylan is gearing up to launch his new venture - the Wildmen podcast - alongside his friend Brendan Columbus, on July 14.

Cole will make a guest appearance on the podcast at some point, but Dylan said that he didn’t want to ask his sibling to take on the role of co-host on this occasion.

He continued: “Obviously the question that jumps out is, ‘Why didn’t you start a podcast with your brother?’

“Look: I love my brother. But we’re both busy in very many ways. I also think that Brendan is the absolute best person to have these conversations with, because my brother and I are still so similar.

“We’re twins, and we’ve grown up doing the same things always, and we both still work in entertainment.

“You’re going to end up having the same opinions about a lot of things. And I don’t necessarily think that’s interesting!”

As for what he and Brendan will be tackling in their podcast, Dylan said it’s more of a “hang” podcast, but added that they aren’t afraid to hark back to the past either.

He said: “We’re talking about everything from the industry to casting mistakes to past work, like working on the Suite Life, to interviewing guests about what they’re doing, to qualms that they’re having.

“And I knew that if we were to give ourselves a really rigid structure, we just wouldn’t have as much fun."
