Vince Vaughn does not show his films to his children
Vince Vaughn has Locklyn and Vernon with his wife, Kyla Weber.
Vince Vaughn has no interest in showing his films to his children.
The 56-year-old actor and his 46-year-old wife, former real estate broker Kyla Weber, have a daughter named Locklyn, 15, and a son called Vernon, 12, and the teenagers have learnt about Vince's work through their pals' parents.
He told Extra: "I’ve never shown them movies that I’m in. We watch a lot of movies, but not stuff I’m in."
Locklyn and Vernon are "aware" of him being a film star, but Vince says they are "not in that too much", which is why the actor has no plans to introduce his children to one of his projects in the future.
The Animal Friends cast member said: "I don’t have an interest. I'm sure they've watched stuff, but it's not top of my list."
In August 2024, Vince received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he was joined by Locklyn, Vernon, and Kyla - whom he married during a small private wedding in Lake Forest, Illinois, in January 2010.
And during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, the Wedding Crashers actor revealed how fatherhood has changed him.
Vince told Extra: "I think you get more patience, and I think you feel a kind of love you just can’t describe.
"We laugh a lot, we have a lot of fun. I enjoy my days quite a bit with both of them."
In his Hollywood Walk of Fame star acceptance speech, Vince joked that Locklyn and Vernon are "not as lucrative" as his acting career.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park film star said: "My beautiful wife Kyla, I’m so glad that you’re with me on this now, I’m so grateful for you and these beautiful kids and for all the laughter that we share together.
"As much as all this means, Vernon and Locklyn, you guys really do need to know that you guys are the most important thing in the world to me.
"You’re not as lucrative, and you don’t give me access to the kind of stuff that this kind of thing does - but with that all being said, you guys are the most important, and I love you very much. It’s great to have you guys with me."
