The 32-year-old singer and actress has gushed over her Wicked: For Good co-star after a "beautiful run" in off-Broadway play Marcel on the Train, which he stars in, as French mime artist Marcel Marceau, and co-wrote.
The Into You hitmaker wrote on her Instagram Stories: "congratulations on a beautiful run of this very beautiful show."
Ariana also posted a butterfly emoji and two outlines of hearts, and she added: "so very proud".
Last November, Ariana and Ethan - who have been romantically linked since July 2023 - were said to be "making it work", despite their busy work schedules.
A source told PEOPLE at the time: "They both have a lot going on, but their relationship is the real deal."
The loved-up couple were busily promoting their new movie, Wicked: For Good at the time, but they were rarely seen together earlier in the year.
The insider said: "They’re incredibly supportive of each other’s careers and so excited for everyone to see their new film."
Just days beforehand, a source claimed that Ariana and Ethan have "always preferred to be low-key".
The celebrity duo are said to be conscious of the online speculation surrounding the state of their relationship, but they spent some quality time together after attending the London premiere of Wicked: For Good.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Ariana and Ethan are still a couple but they’ve seen the chatter online and it’s not been easy.
"They were both at the Leicester Square premiere and the after-party at Brasserie Zedel but made sure they weren’t seen together."
It was said that Ariana and Ethan were planning to spend "some time together out of the public eye" after they had finished promoting Wicked: For Good.
The source shared: "Once this next round of promo is completed for Wicked: For Good, Ariana and Ethan will be spending some time together out of the public eye.
"They’ve always preferred to be low-key and are happier just chilling at home together.
"No one is saying the past few months have been totally rosy but their relationship is still very much on."
