Jack Osbourne has welcomed his fifth baby into the world and named her after his late dad Ozzy.

The 40-year-old star and wife Aree Gearhart have become parents for a second time after she gave birth to their daughter on March 5, and the couple revealed the sweet tribute to the late Black Sabbath frontman following his death in July 2025 aged 76.

In a joint announcement on Instagram, Jack and Aree wrote on Instagram: "Introducing Ozzy Matilda Osbourne."

The post included a black and white video of baby Ozzy asleep, while a note card confirmed her date of birth, and noted she weighed seven pounds and four ounces.

In another nod to Jack's late dad, she was lying near a black Jellycat bat.

Jack and Aree are already parents to Maple, three, while Jack is father to daughters Pearl Clementine, 13, Andy Rose, 10, and seven-year-old Minnie Theodora with ex-wife Lisa Stelly.

The proud father of five revealed his wife was pregnant for a second time late last year, after he left the jungle following his stint on UK reality series I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

He told The Sun on Sunday at the time: "It’s awesome. We’re super-excited. It was sort of planned, I should say.

"It was maybe a little earlier than expected. But it’s definitely something that we were wanting to pursue and somehow it happened, miraculously.”

Thankfully for Jack, the couple told Ozzy that they were expecting before he passed away, which has handled with "grieving".

He added: "I think it’s been partly a healthy distraction, partly healing — probably in that kind of ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way.

"It’s very much taken energy out of the grieving side of things and parked in a bit more hopefulness."

Ozzy's official cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest, with Parkinson’s disease – with which he had been diagnosed in 2003 – recorded as a contributing factor in his passing.

Last week, Jack recalled the morning his father died, admitting the day had felt fairly routine.

He told the Hate To Break It To Ya podcast: "It was a few days after I got back that he passed, and we were… even the morning that he passed, it was like, it wasn’t anything dramatic at all.”

Jack added: “He was up, he was doing his thing, had some breakfast, and that was it.”

Despite Ozzy’s long-term health issues, Jack said the family had not anticipated the timing of Ozzy’s death.

Jack added: “Obviously everyone knew he was sick, but it wasn’t… he was really gearing up for the (Black Sabbath final) show, so he was exercising a lot and moving around.

“He was fired up. But yeah, we weren’t expecting it to be as quick as it was.

“I just think he was done… I do think we have a choice, to a degree.”
