A woman was arrested after allegedly firing multiple shots toward Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home early Sunday afternoon (08.03.26).

Police dispatch audio indicated the suspect fired around 10 rounds from inside a vehicle parked across the street, with at least one bullet striking an exterior wall of the property.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, LAPD officers were called to the scene shortly after 1pm following reports of gunfire in the upscale Beverly Crest area. Responding units located the suspect’s vehicle as it fled and took the woman — described as being in her early 30s — into custody a short time later. Authorities have not released her identity, and the motive remains under investigation.

Rihanna, 38, was reportedly inside the residence when the shots were fired.

A source confirmed to the New York Post that her partner A$AP Rocky was not at the house. It's not clear if the couple's three young children were present during the incident. No injuries were reported, and police say the family was unharmed.

Detectives examined the property and recovered shell casings from the street. Early reports suggest the suspect used a rifle and fired from within her vehicle before speeding away. One round penetrated a wall of the home, though most shots appeared to hit the gate or surrounding exterior.

In 2023, Rihanna's driver was targeted by thieves who stole his car from outside the singer's home.

The theft came just days after police were called to the star's home to deal wth a man who arrived at the house with the intention of proposing to the singer. The unnamed fan had travelled from South Carolina to Los Angeles and walked up the Diamonds hitmaker's house but was almost immediately stopped by her security team. After telling them of his intentions, the staff called cops and the officers handcuffed the man, put him in a squad car and had a "serious chat about his intentions", TMZ reported at the time. It was determined the man hadn't broken any laws but he was asked to leave and told not to return.

In 2018, a man named Eduardo Leon spent 12 hours inside Rihanna's house before he was found her assistant. When he was arrested by police, he claimed he intended on having sex with Rihanna - who was not home at the time - though he insisted he would not have done it without her consent.

He later pleaded guilty to stalking, vandalism and resisting arrest and was sentenced to five years probation and ordered to participate in a Office of Diversion and Re-entry (ODR) programme, designed for offenders who have "mental health and/or substance use disorders, including persons who are homeless".
