A 36-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly opening fire at Rihanna's Beverly Hills mansion.

Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, a licensed speech pathologist from Orlando, Florida, is alleged to have opened fire with an AR-style rifle at Rihanna's mansion in March.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed that Ortiz has been charged with one count of attempted murder, as well as ten felony counts of assault with an assault weapon and three felony counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper.

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said: "Every person deserves to feel safe in and around their home.

"Shooting at an occupied home is a serious, violent crime that is both reckless and dangerous. It is pure luck and not a matter of restraint that no one was killed or injured."

Rihanna, A$AP Rocky - her long-time partner - their three children, her mother and two staff people were all inside the property when Ortiz is alleged to have opened fire.
