Sydney Sweeney campaign prompts surge in American Eagle's share price
Sydney Sweeney's star power has had a hugely positive impact on the share price of American Eagle.

Sydney Sweeney's ad campaign for American Eagle Outfitters prompted the company's stock to surge by ten per cent.
The 27-year-old actress stars in a new campaign for the retailer and she's even helped to create a limited-edition denim jacket known as The Sydney Jean, with the actress' profile leading to a sharp surge in American Eagle's share price.
Jennifer Foyle, the president and executive creative director at American Eagle, said in a statement: "This fall season, American Eagle is celebrating what makes our brand iconic – trendsetting denim that leads, never follows.
"Innovative fits and endless versatility reflect how our community wears their denim: mixed, matched, layered and lived in. With Sydney Sweeney front and centre, she brings the allure, and we add the flawless wardrobe for the winning combo of ease, attitude and a little mischief."
Sydney is also thrilled to be working with American Eagle, observing that the brand has been "there with [her] through every version of [herself]".
She said: "There is something so effortless about American Eagle – it’s the perfect balance of being put-together but still feeling like yourself.
"Their commitment to creating pieces that make you feel confident and comfortable in your own skin is something that resonates with me. It's rare to find a brand that grows with you, the way American Eagle has for generations. They have literally been there with me through every version of myself."
Sydney has enjoyed a meteoric rise in recent years, starring in TV shows such as Euphoria and The Handmaid's Tale, while she's also worked with a host of big-name brands, including Laneige and Frankies Bikinis.
The actress has also been tipped to play a Bond girl in the next 007 movie, with director Denis Villeneuve reportedly keen to hire Sydney for his upcoming film.
A source recently told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Sydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond.
"Denis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernising the franchise.
"They've hung out together a lot and he has admired her stratospheric rise.
"Plus Sydney has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of the Bond girls."
