Danielle Fishel clashes with Boy Meets World co-star Maitland Ward
Danielle Fishel has clashed with Maitland Ward, her former co-star, on 'Pod Meets World'.

Danielle Fishel has accused Maitland Ward of trying to stir up trouble to attract ratings.
The 43-year-old actress - who played Topanga Lawrence on TV shows 'Boy Meets World' and 'Girl Meets World' - has clashed with her former co-star on the latest episode of 'Pod Meets World', Danielle's rewatch podcast series.
Recalling the 'Girl Meets World' premiere in 2014, Maitland said: "I think that you hate me because you wouldn’t speak to me when we would go to 'Girl Meets World' and everything, and that was hurtful."
Danielle then replied: "I wouldn’t speak to you? I did talk to you."
Maitland, 48 - who played Rachel McGuire on 'Boy Meets World' - subsequently accused her former co-star of unfriending her on Facebook.
Danielle denied the accusation and insisted that she actually tried to rectify the rift in 2022.
The actress shared: "I am not a Facebook person.
"I then went into my Facebook page, saw that we were not friends. Didn’t remember when we were friends on Facebook or when we were no longer friends on Facebook. I found your message in the graveyard of messages - and I then felt very bad."
Danielle later accused Maitland of trying to stir up trouble on the podcast.
She said: "I felt like, ‘Oh man, you did send me a really nice message.' I asked Will [Friedle, their former co-star], ‘Will you please ask Maitland if I could have her phone number so I could apologize to her?’ And you wrote back to Will, ‘No, let’s just save it for the podcast, it will be great for the ratings.'"
Maitland denied Danielle's claims and she even suggested that the actress felt jealous of her around 2014.
She said: "You didn’t like the fact that I was getting a lot of attention at that time and going off in my own space and taking away that attention."
