Mia Goth feels "closer to home" when she watches 'The Great British Bake Off'.

The 31-year-old actress - who was born in London and spent a large portion of her childhood in the city - has revealed that she feels closer to her English roots whenever she watches the TV baking show.

Mia - whose mother is Brazilian and her father is Canadian - told W Magazine: "I love that show, partly because I live in Los Angeles, and whenever I watch it I feel closer to home in London. It feels like a hug.

"Also because it’s incredible, what they do. I’m trying to learn how to cook.

"I’m a little bit late to the game, but what they make on that show are real pieces of art. I just made an apple crumble for the first time. The crumble didn’t really work out on top, but it was good."

Meanwhile, Mia previously claimed that the best actors are often "weird people".

The movie star also observed that actors can be "socially awkward and strange", and that acting is a natural career choice for such people.

She told AnOther magazine: "I think actors are weird people, the best ones anyway.

"They’re socially awkward and strange. And that’s probably why they get into acting.

"The easy, charismatic ones that are great in social settings and at parties don’t tend to be the best actors. It’s the other ones that are just a little weird, that find refuge on a film set where they can part ways from who they are for a little bit and be other people, those are the best ones."
