Lais Ribeiro and Joakim Noah have welcomed their first child together
Lais Ribeiro has given birth to her second child.
The 34-year-old model has welcomed her second baby, and her first with her husband Joakim Noah.
Lais - who already has a 16-year-old son called Alexandre from a previous relationship - has taken to social media to announce the birth of her second child, sharing a photo of herself, Joakim, Alexandre and the newborn baby on Instagram.
The model - who is best-known for her work as a Victoria's Secret Angel - captioned the snap: "Thankful for my family [angel emoji] (sic)"
Lais announced her pregnancy in August, when she shared a series of photos of her growing baby bump.
The runway star captioned the post at the time: "25 weeks [heart emoji] blessed [baby emoji] @stickity13 [heart emoji] (sic)"
Lais previously admitted that she struggled to balance her career with the demands of motherhood.
The model spent the first five years of her son's life building her career.
She told SheKnows: "It was the five hardest years of my life."
Alexandre was diagnosed with autism back in 2013, and Lais admits that it's created another challenge for her.
The model - who married Joakim in 2022 - has actually made a concerted effort to "best understand his needs" since they received the diagnosis.
She said: "I didn't know much about autism when we first found out, so it was a shock.
"It scares you, as a mother, because you don't know how it's going to affect them and what kind of life they will have. I had to immerse myself in the special needs community and work with organisations to best understand his needs and how I can fully support him."
