Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have got engaged.

The 27-year-old actress is set to tie the knot with the Buffalo Bills quarterback after the 28-year-old sportsman popped the question in a romantic rose-filled proposal.

The couple shared a joint Instagram post which featured Josh down on one knee in front of the 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' star, with the pair surrounded by an arch of pink and red flowers, with candles in front of them and the ocean behind.

It was simply captioned with infinity signs and the apparent date of the proposal, 22 November.

Actress Bailee Madison was among those to congratulate the couple.

She commented on the post: "Forever!!!!! [nine heart emojis] so happy for you both and can’t wait to see the magic and love you fill your life together with!!!!!!! Love youuuuuu!!(sic)"

Chad Michael Murray wrote: "Congrats brother!!!"

Chloe Grace Moretz shared a heart emoji, while Ashley Benson posted: "[five heart emojis] congrats honey.(sic)"

And not only did some of Josh's teammates past and present add their congratulations, the official Buffalo Bills account also congratulated the couple.

They wrote: "LET’S GOOOOOO!! [red and blue heart emojis] (sic)"

On the team's official X account, they posted: "[Blue and red heart emojis] Congratulations to @JoshAllenQB and @HaileeSteinfeld on their engagement.(sic)".

The couple - who were first romantically linked in May 2023 - are said to have delighted their families with their engagement.

A source told People magazine: "They’ve been head over heels from the start. Their families are thrilled."

Hailee and Josh made their first public appearance as a couple in October 2023 when they attended an NHL game at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, but they didn't make their romance Instagram official until July this year.

At the time, the footballer posted a photo of himself and his partner embracing in front of the Eiffel Tower during a trip to Paris.
