Lindsay Lohan reveals 'daily' routine in Dubai and biggest difference with Los Angeles
'Our Little Secret' star Lindsay Lohan has opened up on life in Dubai with her husband Bader Shammas and their 16-month-old son Luai.
Lindsay Lohan has insisted her life in Dubai is "pretty similar" to living in Los Angeles.
The 'Our Little Secret' actress - who moved to Dubai a decade ago and still lives there with her husband Bader Shammas and their 16-month-old son Luai - insisted her "daily" routine isn't a world away from how it would've been if she'd stayed in California.
She told Flaunt magazine: "It’s still a city. So it’s pretty similar. I mean, I do anything that anyone else does in their daily life.
"I’m up with my son in the mornings, I do breakfast with him, go to my Pilates, come home for lunch, and go to the park, the same things that any normal mom would do in their daily life. Or you would do in LA."
She insisted the "only difference is the time zone shift", as the 38-year-old star feels a "big disconnect" from her working day starting compared to "other places".
With the festive season approaching, the 'Falling For Christmas' star revealed her family will be in the US for the holidays.
She said: "Well, actually this year we’ll be stateside. But no, no matter where we are, we always do a Christmas tree.
"And now that we have our son, we’re going to do Santa, we’ll do decorating together. All that fun stuff. Last year we did it, but he was very small.
"This year, he’s getting bigger, so the holidays are getting more exciting, because we get to share it with our little one. It just makes it all the better and all the more special."
When it comes to finding the right balance between her career and family life, the 'Mean Girls' actress pointed out the importance of her projects being "in line with [her] values".
She added: "Starting my own business and producing more things that I love are part of where I want my future to take me.
"So even if it’s a commercial campaign or something like that, it has to be something that I actually believe in.
"It must be a product I really like and enjoy using, or eating; I really do like tea, for example."
