Candace Cameron Bure "isn't pushing" for grandchildren.
The 48-year-old actress has Natasha, 26, sons Lev, 24, and Maksim, 22, with husband Valeri Bure and her middle son tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend in January 2024, but while she "cannot wait" to be a grandmother, she is happy to wait until the time is right.
She told UsWeekly: "I can’t wait until I have them, but I’m definitely not pushing them. They’ve been married less than a year. Whatever their timing is is great with us."
The former 'Full House' star is also hopeful that when a little one does arrive, she will eventually share her nickname with the American word often associated with the delivery of candy or sweets on a special occasion, although the other members of her family aren't so keen on the moniker.
She said: "I’m defending my grandma name. Nobody likes it except me and I wanted to be Candy Gram
“I just thought that was cute. My son doesn’t think so. I think he’s like, ‘You’re just sticking with Grandma Candace.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ Maybe Grammy. Something like that, I don’t know."
Candace previously insisted that her son's wedding to Elliott Dunham, 22, was one of the "most incredible days of [her]" life" because she had all of her loved ones around her.
She told Access Hollywood: "I can't wait for the day! Grandma Candy, come on, bring it. Hopefully one day. They just got married in January and the wedding was incredible. It was one of the most incredible days of my life to have all of the people who have loved on them and helped raise them alongside of us. She is just a wonderful, wonderful woman, Elliott, his wife, and they live like 15 minutes down the road so mama could not be happier!"
