Kelsea Ballerini would "never say never" to the idea of getting married again.

The 31-year-old country music star initially tied the knot with fellow singer Morgan Evans, 39, but they split in 2022 and she has been dating 'Outer Banks' actor Chase Stokes, 32, for almost two years.

When asked if she is ready to get married for a second time, she told E! News: "I would never say never to anything. Anything that I've said a hard no to in my life, I have come back and challenged myself on.

"I'm happy and everything is as it should."

The 'Miss Me More' hitmaker even got Chase involved in her music video for 'First Rodeo', and explained that the track was a "beautiful ode" to their relationship.

She said: "That song was really the first song that I wrote "that was true to, 'Hey, I feel fragile, and I feel really nervous to open up my life and my heart again, but I really want to. Will you just take it slow with me?

"He's such a pillar of this record and obviously of my life. I feel like it was this beautiful ode to him and to us."

Kelsea also explained that she and the Chase have "learned a lot" from their relationship so far and have "challenged" each other to become a "better" partner since they got together.

She said: "We've both learned a lot from it and we've both really challenged each other to become a better partner for each other, and also just for ourselves. We're proper teammates now

Kelsea spends much of her time in her native Tennesse, whilst Chase films his hit Netflix drama in LA, and he recently admitted that even thought is "not always easy" with the physical distance that their careers put between them, they are both committed to "showing up" for one another.

He told People: "We don't BS each other. If we need to make the effort to show up when one's across the country, we do. The amount of effort that we put into our careers, we should be doubling that in our personal lives. It's about really putting in effort, and it's not always easy and it's not always convenient, but having a big, beautiful life didn't come from convenience or ease."
