Liam Gallagher has insisted he and Noel aren't planning to do any joint interviews together.

The Oasis brothers recently shocked the world by putting an end to their long sibling rivalry and announced a huge reunion tour for 2025, but the 52-year-old singer claimed the pair won't be speaking to the press before their first live shows since 2009.

He told a fan on X that they are "not doing any", teasing: "We don't want to interviews coz we're scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship."

Responding to another fan, he admitted he "can't be a****".

Another follower on the social media platform - which was formerly known as Twitter - insisted fans were "still waiting for that press conference.

Liam wrote: "They ain't getting 1."

The 'Everything's Electric' star has explained it took him calling his older sibling, 57, to set the wheels in motion.

Asked "what's happening" with him and Noel, Liam told a fan on X, formerly Twitter: "Rite so we’re in this band called oasis decent he’s a guitarist I’m the singer and we’re gonna do some gigs nxt year hope that’s cleared things up (sic)"

He was then asked who called who first, and replied: "I called him but don’t tell anyone as I do t wont folk thinking I’m a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x (sic)"

The 'Wonderwall' hitmakers have already announced shows in the UK, North America and Australia as part of their reunion.

Insiders recently claimed that they have already "covered everything" from clothes to Christmas decorations with their new trademark.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre colum: "They have big plans for merchandise.

“Millions of people wanted to get tickets to the shows and Oasis know they’ll also be splashing the cash on branded stuff.

“The new trademark is for Oasis Live ’25 and covers everything.

"Clothes pegs and Christmas wreaths, deodorants and moisturisers are also listed."

In August 2009 Noel Gallagher quit the band in the wake of a backstage bust-up with younger brother Liam Gallagher ahead of a Paris festival appearance which led to them being estranged for 15 years before the reunion announcement.
