Victoria Beckham wants ‘husband back’ as he focuses on farm life
Joking about how he spends all his time gardening and tending to their chickens, Victoria Beckham has told fans she wants her “husband back”.
Victoria Beckham wants her “husband back” as he is sinking himself into farm life.
The former Spice Girl, 50, joked her 49-year-old partner is like a stranger as he’s now focused on gardening and looking after their animals, which now include chickens.
She said online in response to a tour of his land he posted on Instagram: “Who is this man? Give me my husband back!”
Victoria gave David his chickens for Christmas, and he updated fans over the weekend on his love of farming by posting a video that started with him wishing his fans “Good morning”.
He then gave his followers a look at his animals while dressed in a green plaid shirt and newsboy cap – before David showed off his and Victoria’s home in the Cotswolds.
David also gave fans a glimpse of the veg he’s growing, including spring onions, wildflowers, plum trees, kale and cabbage.
He added in the clip: “So, not bad, and then, we have a lot of potatoes. Today, I actually am going to make some crisps because I’m a savoury person – not sweet.”
David also displayed the “berry area” on his land, saying in a caption: “My Kale is doing well. I can hear my east end mates going, ‘He has changed.’
“My wife said shorten the video down but obviously didn’t listen so I’m sorry... my content used to be motorbikes and camping, now it’s kale, honey and flowers for the house (wondering face emoji.)”
David said he “might have to get back on the road soon” alongside a motorbike emoji, and finished his message with a note for Victoria that said: “You’re welcome for the flowers for the house (red flower emoji.)”
Victoria has supported David’s move into gardening by posting supportive posts as he tends to their land.
He also gushed over her in August, saying after they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on 4 July: “She always gave me that confidence and, and she still does now, even after 27 years.
“She still gives me that confidence that, you know, wanting to look good and wanting to feel good.”
