Brittany Cartwright 'is not interested in reconciling with Jax Taylor'
Brittany Cartwright isn't considering a reconciliation at this moment in time, according to a source.
Brittany Cartwright is "not interested in having anything to do" with Jax Taylor.
The 45-year-old reality star is set to appear on season two of 'The Valley' after recently leaving a mental health facility, but Jax's estranged wife isn't considering a reconciliation at this moment in time.
A source told PEOPLE: "Jax will be returning to filming 'The Valley' for season two after completing his stint at a mental health facility. It’s been a tough time for him. He had been in treatment for the last 30 days.
"Brittany was supportive of Jax's decision to seek help for their son's sake. However, going forward, she's not interested in having anything to do with him."
Brittany and Jax announced their split earlier this year - but she subsequently admitted that a reconciliation remained possible.
Brittany told Us Weekly: "There’s definitely a chance. But I won’t waste my time and get back into a toxic situation.
"Now the veil has been lifted and I see how much I was always cleaning up Jax’s messes. I’m thrown in the middle of all these fights and constantly forced to apologise for him in the media and to friends. It’s hard."
Brittany feels she doesn't need Jax in order to thrive.
The 35-year-old reality TV star - who has Cruz, three, with her estranged husband - revealed that she was feeling "really strong" and that she was financially independent, too.
Brittany - who previously starred on 'Vanderpump Rules' - said: "I feel really strong.
"At the beginning, I was freaking out. I came to Los Angeles for Jax and we moved in together immediately, so I’ve never been here by myself. But now I have my own friends and my own money."
