Matt Damon finds it "weird" how quickly his children have grown up.

The 53-year-old actor has Isabella, 18, Gia, 15, and Stella, with his wife Luciana Barroso - who also has a daughter from a previous relationship - and as he gathered his brood at the premiere of 'The Instigators' in New York on Wednesday (31.08.24) admitted that they had started to grow up "really fast".

He told 'Entertainment Tonight': "It happens fast. It's weird. It happens kind of slowly and then really fast in a beautiful way."#

The new Apple+ comedy marks the first time that Matt and his wife have worked together, with the Hollywood star and his significant other both working as producers on the upcoming heist.

In the film, Matt stars alongside Casey Affleck as a pair thieves who go on the run after a robbery goes wrong and the 'Mystic Pizza' star noted that his wife was enthusiastic about the project from the start but wasn't ever interested in "taking credit" for her work.

He said: "She's been reading every script and watching every cut of every movie for 21 years. This is the first time we ever kind of codified it," Damon explained. "She didn't even want to take the credit. She was there every day, she was doing all this work on the script, and then she was like, 'Nah, I don't want to take the credit.

"The other producers on the movie, at the end of the movie -- and I had nothing to do with it -- they came of their own volition [and said], 'If you're not taking credit, we're not taking credit. "[It was] very sweet. She succumbed and took the credit."
