Megan Moroney admits she is 'too busy' for a relationship after dating rumours
Megan Moroney "doesn't have time for a relationship" right now as she insists her career keeps her from being able to commit, despite rumours that she had been dating fellow musicians.
Megan Moroney "doesn't have time for a relationship" right now.
The 26-year-old country music star was rumoured to have been dating the likes of Morgan Wallen and Riley Green in recent times but has declared that she is now single because she would struggle to commit to anything around her busy career.
She told FoxNewsDigital: "I think I've never been more dialled in with my career than I am now. I really don't have time for a relationship, and I think it's reflected in my album. There's two love songs that are maybe kind of hopeful, and then it ends real quick, and that is an accurate representation of how my love life recently went. So, yeah, I'm focused on the music and my career, and that's kind of all about all I have time for right now."
The 'Tennessee Orange' hitmaker noted that she is not "emotionally available" for a partner at this moment in time and is certainly not ready to look for someone she could potentially settle down with.
She said: "I think because I'm not emotionally available, like, I am not ready to find someone that I want to marry right now, because that's just not in even the top ten things in my brain right now.
"So it's just like, let's not waste anyone's time. Let's just not date right now because there's that point."
The TikTok star is currently on tour with music legend Kenny Chesney and explained that the 'She's Got It All' crooner has become something of a "mentor" to her over the course of the show.
She said: "He's become a mentor for me and a close friend, and I just am so grateful for him. I watch him every night. And, you know, he doesn't have a huge production. He's just that good of a performer."
