Megan Moroney forced to go commando after awkward wardrobe malfunction
I Feel Pretty country music star Megan Moroney has revealed she was forced into a last minute outfit choice after a mishap on the red carpet.
Megan Moroney was forced to go commando after an awkward red carpet wardrobe malfunction.
The 29-year-old singer, who took to the stage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Sunday (18.10.26) night, has recalled a moment of boldness when she was forced to make a difficult decision in a moment of panic.
Asked about her most "outrageous" fashion risk, Megan told E! News on the pink carpet: "I’ll tell you what my brain immediately went to.
"The ACM Awards a few years ago, I had these like sticky underwear on, and they fell off on the carpet.
“So, then I just took them off and gave them to my publicist. And so yeah, I didn't have underwear on carpet.”
Arriving at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, the I Feel Pretty hitmaker stepped out in a red, chain link style minidress.
However, she laughed: "The outfit is not at all correlated to my performance, but it's beautiful! It's like a work of art.
"It's really heavy, and maybe it's preparing me for my performance."
She graced the stage to sing a medley of 6 Months Later, Wish I Didn't and Sorry... I Meant Tonight, which all feature on her latest album Cloud 9.
Speaking before the show, she said: "I'm performing a medley of three of my songs, and two of them I've never performed on TV before so I'm excited.
"I got to kinda choose which songs I thought would be good for this runway. They're very confident girl-power anthems."
Meanwhile, Megan recently admitted she appreciates fans who recognise her without make-up, as she often changes her style.
She told Cosmopolitan magazine earlier this year: "I would love to have an era where I wear my hair natural and less makeup because off stage, this is what you’re gonna see, and my fans know that.
"What is cool about my career and my fans is they feel like they know me through social media and they know that I don’t always look like this — having pounds of extensions on my head."
Megan actually enjoys when her fans recognise her away from the spotlight, when she's not glammed up for a show.
The singer explained: "I always say, too, if you can recognise me when I’m natural, you deserve a picture.
"I’m never gonna be mad at you for asking me for a photo if you can recognise me without all the makeup and hair. You’re a true fan."
