Shania Twain's Glastonbury experience will feel "surreal".

The 58-year-old star is set to follow in the footsteps of some of her musical heroes by filling the Legend’s slot at the world-famous festival, and Shania is determined to enjoy the experience.

She told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Even though I know it’s happening, it feels surreal, especially as so many of my heroes have played the slot."

Shania plans to see some other artists in action before she takes to the stage herself.

The chart-topping star shared: "I am going to see some of the festival, as I have never been before. I am told I will love it. I plan on going early and just taking it all on.

"I have a pair of baby-pink wellies with horses on, they are great. I don’t know why I want to wear those but I do.

"I also have a cowboy hat!

"I’ve never seen a Coldplay show, even though I’ve sung with Chris Martin."

Speculation has suggested that Harry Styles could join Shania on stage, and the award-winning star has admitted that she'd love to perform with Harry, 30, at Glastonbury.

The 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman!' hitmaker said: "It will be all the hits. I was Harry’s guest at Coachella so if he attends Glastonbury, then I will make him come up with me. If he attends, that is.

"If he’s not here, it’s really hard to get in there to just show up so I’m not going to hold it against him."

Shania recently described her Glastonbury performance as a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity.

The singer told the BBC: "It’s been explained to me that it is a real event, a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Everyone keeps going: ‘Let me tell you about it. Let me tell you about my experiences.'"
