Kerry Katona is preparing to undergo nose surgery.

The 43-year-old former singer is gearing up to undergo the procedure at the Pall Mall Medical clinic and is feeling "nervous" about it but is sure things will be "fine" even though binge-watching US medical drama 'Greys' Anatomy' has fired up her "anxiety" about her health in general.

Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: "I'm going into Pall Mall Medical for my nose surgery this week and I'm feeling nervous- I know it will be fine though. I should be in and out on the same day, which is a shame because I like staying there - the nurses mother me and it's a nice rest - I don't get that at home!

"I'm not sure if my nose will look much different after, maybe a little smaller, but it's not for vanity reasons I'm doing it. I've also been binge-watching.

'Grey's Anatomy' which probably doesn't help with my health anxiety, but it's so good!"

Meanwhile, the former Atomic Kitten singer - who was initially married to Westlife singer Brian McFadden from 2002 until 2006 and has Molly, 22, and 21-year-old Lilly-Sue with him but went on to have Heidi, 16, and Max, 15, with second husband Mark Croft and also has nine-year-old daughter DJ with the late George Kay - has seen her teenage daughter starting GCSEs recently and is wishing luck to all schoolchildren across the country as she admitted she has been trying to get Heidi to "embrace" her time in education before life really gets tough.

She said: "Heidi started her GCSE exams last week. I want to wish all year 11s good luck as I know it's a stressful time. Just do your best, it's not all about grades. Heidi can't wait to be done with school but I keep telling her to embrace it. Those were the best years of my life. You have no responsibilities, no bills, no work.

"I keep telling my kids it gets hard when there is responsibility. DJ went on a school trip last week. She was excited but a bit emotional before leaving - but it was all fine in the end!"
