Nicola Coughlan wants to "soak up every moment" of her acting career because it was a "long road" to stardom.

The 'Bridgerton' castmember has admitted she worked hard and went through some tough times before becoming an established actress and she now wants to make the most of every opportunity because she realises she's very "privileged" to be able to do a job she loves.

Speaking at the reopening of the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris, Nicola explained: "I think the constant drive for me is to make things that will make people feel something, whether it's laugh, cry, evoke some memory, all that kind of stuff drives me.

"I love my job, I feel really privileged. I want to do it forever. It was a long road to get to do it, and now I think I just soak up every moment. When you meet people who watch the things you've done and it made them feel something, that's the best thing."

During her trip to the theme park, Nicola opened up about her love of all things Disney and revealed her favourite movies and her top Disney Prince.

She added: "I think my favourite Disney movie growing up was either 'The Lion King' or 'The Little Mermaid'. I'm a '90s kid, so those are my era. And my first tape I ever bought in the shop was Hakuna Matata, so that was my first full Disney experience ... If I could be any Disney character, I think I would be Ariel because I think Prince Eric was the best-looking Prince – the hair!"

She added of the newly reopened hotel: "The Disneyland Hotel is incredible. It's magical, immersive, and so much fun! I’m staying in the Beauty and the Beast-themed room and everything is so well thought out, they literally just transport you into a Disney movie.

"I didn't know what it would be like seeing Mickey Mouse coming to dinner, and then Goofy, and seeing all the kids get so excited, and seeing their joy just brings you joy. It's like nothing else I've ever experienced."
