The Black Sabbath frontman, 74, and his wife Sharon, 70, have five grandchildren ā their daughter Kellyās nine-month-old boy Sidney, and son Jackās 14-month-old daughter Maple Artemis, who he had with fiancĆ©e Aree Gearhart, as well his three daughters Pearl, 11, Andy Rose, seven, and Minnie Theodora, five, who he had with ex-wife Lisa Stelly.
Despite being renowned for his liberal ways around his family, Jack, 37, said his dad draws the line at allowing his children to snuggle up in his bed.
Jack told Fox News Digital about his parents babysitting his kids: āThey wonāt do it at my house. Itās a little easier for them if we drop the girls with them.
āThe good thing is ā outside of the baby ā itās that they can handle it now, you know, theyāre much easier. The kids can tell you what they need when they need it.ā
Jack added about his dadās policy on changing his grandkidsā nappies: āMy dad is like, āHell, no. Like, no.ā
āBecause my dadās in that era where, like, men donāt touch diapers. Like, thatās not thatās not what dads do.ā
He also admitted: āItās funny. If my kids are at the house and like they all want to get into bed and watch TV with my mom, my dad is like, āNope.ā
āAnd he like, gets out of the bed and like, goes, heās like, āNo, Iām not doing that.ā
āIām like, āWhy?ā Heās like, āI donāt want them going to school being like, āI was in bed with my grandpa.ā
āHeās like, āNo, not dealing with it.ā And Iām like, āOK.ā Iām like, āFine, thatās your boundary, thatās your boundary.āā
Ozzy, who also has daughter Aimee Osbourne, 40, with Sharon, has said he is opting to halt surgeries after undergoing a āfinalā procedure this week.
He retired from touring several months ago due to structural damage to his spine and has confirmed he wonāt be looking to undergo further operations on his neck and back as he prepared for his fourth one.
He said on Tuesdayās (19.09.23) episode of āThe Osbournes Podcastā: āTomorrow, I have my final surgery on my neck. Which it is gonna be the final surgery, because I canāt do it anymore. Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, Iām not doing it anymore. I canāt.ā
Ozzyās health struggles have included a fall in 2019 that aggravated a spine injury from a decade earlier and being diagnosed with a rare form of Parkinsonās disease in 2020.
