Teyana Taylor has teamed up with Calvin Klein as the face of its new Perfectly Fit Custom Lift Bra.
Teyana Taylor has teamed up with Calvin Klein as the face of its new Perfectly Fit Custom Lift Bra.
The 35-year-old actress and model is starring in a new campaign for the iconic brand, which sees her put the underwear to test in a video soundtracked to Tina Turner classic The Best.
She said in a statement: “When I feel good in what I’m wearing, you can see it in the way I move.
"I need something that can keep up with me — whether I’m on a red carpet, performing, running around with my kids or just at home.
"That’s what I love about the Perfectly Fit bra. It gives me the lift and support I want without sacrificing comfort. I can move, I can breathe and I can just be me.”
Jonathan Bottomley, who serves as Calvin Klein’s chief marketing officer and parent company PVH Corp’s executive vice president of group consumer and brand strategy, has described Teyana as the "perfect partner" for the bra.
He explained: “With Perfectly Fit Custom Lift, we took one of our signature bras and made it even better through thoughtful innovation.
“Teyana was the perfect partner to tell that story: she brings an authenticity and creative energy that feels uniquely her, while naturally embodying the confidence and sensuality that have always defined Calvin Klein.
"The campaign builds on our visual identity while keeping our iconic product at the center.”
The Perfectly Fit bra has padding adjusted by size, meaning it can offer more lift in smaller sizes, and less for larger.
Meanwhile, the One Battle After Another star was delighted with her fashion choice for this year's Academy Awards ceremony, where she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
A couple of days before the spectacle, she told Variety about her dressing fitting: "I was nearly in tears.
"It's so good. My final fitting is on Thursday. It's so major. I can't wait for you to see it."
Teyana landed in Hollywood days before the Oscars, having been on the front row of Chanel's show in Paris earlier in the week.
She added: "I just landed a few hours ago. The show was yesterday. Now, I got to make sure I look good because you know that jet lag can whoop your a**."
Teyana was "so nervous" about the Academy Awards, and she wasn't ready for award season to "come to an end".
She said at the time: "I’m realising this is about to come to an end and I really had a blast.
"There are all the friendships I made and all the beautiful people that I’ve enjoyed running into all awards season.
"I’m going to miss everybody. This whole journey has been so beautiful. I don’t take any of this for granted."
