Oasis: Don't Look Back in Anger producer and writer Steven Knight believes the Gallagher brothers have enough material for a second film.

The emotional documentary follows formerly estranged brothers Liam and Noel reuniting for their massive Oasis Live ’25 tour, and features the first joint interview with the siblings in 20 years.

Ahead of the movie hitting Disney+ and Hulu last week, the Peaky Blinders creator - who is writing the next James Bond film - suggested the siblings could easily release a follow-up.

He told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “I believe there is another.

“There’s loads of stuff there that people would love to see. Why not?”

Dylan Southern - who directed the film with Will Lovelace - recently explained the simple explanation as to why the film didn't show the frontman and guitarist making up.

The filmmaker said: “A lot of people having watched the film have been like, ‘Why didn’t we get to see the machinations of how they got back together?’

“But literally, they didn’t sit down and have a heart-to-heart and go, ‘You said this, you did that’. They walked back into a room together, and we filmed it, and they started, and Oasis was back.”

They waited until the very end for the pair's joint interview on purpose.

Dylan explained: “That’s something we talked about right from the beginning.

“We shouldn’t see them together until much later in the film. It was important to hold off on that.”

He also noted how Liam and Noel's relationship was "thawing" right before the fans' eyes each night of the tour.

Dylan said: "I think the remarkable thing about the film is you see that thawing happen across the gigs. It wasn’t happening backstage, it wasn’t happening in rehearsals - it was happening live on stage every night, and Noel and Liam really got closer on stage.”

The Britpop legends will reunite for the Oasis Live '27 tour next year, which could offer more material for a follow-up, especially given they will play six record-breaking shows at Knebworth, the location of their two history making 1996 concerts. There, they will set the record for the most dates played at the historic British country estate, eclipsing the three dates rival Robbie Williams performed there in August 2003.
