Queen Camilla has paid tribute to fallen servicemen and women by wearing a £30 poppy brooch previously worn by the Princess of Wales.

The 79-year-old royal chose the gold-plated accessory as she joined King Charles, 77, in Antigua and Barbuda on Sunday (01.11.26).

Camilla paired the crystal-covered pin with a long-sleeved aquamarine dress, suede shoes and a woven handbag.

The brooch was created by the Royal British Legion in 2018 to honour women who served and sacrificed their lives during the First World War.

It originally cost £29.99, making it a surprisingly affordable addition to the royal jewellery collection.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, 44, previously wore the same design during a visit to London's Imperial War Museum in October 2018.

She pinned it to a dark blue Jenny Packham dress while attending an engagement ahead of Armistice Day.

The accessory features an enamel poppy with gold detailing and small crystals.

Each brooch was originally sold with a certificate commemorating a woman who died as a direct result of the First World War.

The Royal British Legion introduced the design to mark the centenary of the conflict's end and recognise the contributions of women who worked as nurses, factory workers and members of auxiliary services.

Proceeds from its sale supported the charity's work helping serving personnel, veterans and their families.

Members of the Royal Family traditionally wear poppies in the weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day on November 11.

This year's commemorations began with the Royal British Legion's London Poppy Day fundraising event on Thursday (29.10.26).

Camilla's choice brought the remembrance tradition to the Caribbean during her official visit with the King.
