Hysterical Women brings a powerhouse all‑female comedy bill to the Royal Albert Hall in 2027
A new all‑female comedy celebration, Hysterical Women, will take over the Royal Albert Hall on March 7, 2027 with a stacked line‑up of award‑winning comics and rising stars.
Hysterical Women is set to make a major entrance next spring, launching its first edition at London’s Royal Albert Hall on March 7, 2027.
Landing on the eve of International Women’s Day (08.10.26), the event aims to become a fixture in the UK comedy calendar, spotlighting the performers who’ve shaped modern stand‑up alongside the next wave breaking through.
The debut line‑up is packed with big hitters and fresh faces, with Catherine Bohart, Ciara O’Connor, Fern Brady, Harriet Dyer, Janine Harouni, Josie Long, Lou Sanders, Marty Gleeson, Michelle De Swarte and Sindhu Vee all confirmed to take the stage. Each act will perform a specially curated set for the one‑night‑only showcase.
The event comes from Bridget Mulroy of Live Nation, who says the night is about reclaiming a word long used to undermine women and putting it centre stage. She points to the Hall’s comedy legacy - including Victoria Wood’s record‑breaking runs - as proof of how transformative the venue can be for women in stand‑up, calling Hysterical Women a continuation of that impact.
Royal Albert Hall’s Director of Programming, Matthew Todd, says the venue’s history of platforming cultural change makes it the perfect home for a night celebrating women through comedy. He describes the line‑up as a “brilliant array” of voices who reflect the innovation and energy shaping the scene today.
With a mix of household names, cult favourites and rising talent, Hysterical Women is positioned as a major new moment for UK comedy.
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday (23.10.26) via hysterical‑women.co.uk.
