The 55-year-old TV star has appeared on the hit ITV show since 2007, and Amanda remains amazed by the programme's longevity.
The blonde beauty told Digital Spy: "I can't believe I'm still there. My daughter is 20 and I look at her and just go, 'That is what 20 looks like.' It is amazing. To get to do 20 years on the show has been brilliant.
"Britain's Got Talent has really changed over 20 years. We have had lots of bedroom auditions. Now you find more people through social media. But even with all the things that have changed, it's still a show you sit down and watch with your family.
"We have changed people's lives, genuinely. You don't have to win it for it to change your life.
"I have kept in touch with so many of the contestants who didn't win and they are smashing it. They never went back to their normal jobs and they're doing what they love and getting paid to do it. That's incredible."
Britain's Got Talent has seen lots of judges come and go over the years. However, Amanda has thanked Simon Cowell, who created the programme, for showing so much faith in her.
She said: "Simon Cowell has just been bloody brilliant to have kept me there. I also have to keep myself relevant.
"I've always been very truthful. I've been part of all aspects of the industry. I've done stage, I've done film, I've done TV, I've done radio. The only thing I haven't done is a Bollywood movie. I need to check that off my list."
Amanda also revealed that she doesn't have any intention of slowing down.
Asked if she will ever retire and just enjoy her success, Amanda replied: "I take the summer off. But I'm not very good at resting.
"I clear people's plates before they finish their dinner. I tidy up. I am not good at sitting down. I get b******** by my whole family for it all the time."
